The PRI Trade Show Report

We just got back from the Performance Racing Industry trade show in
The American Drag Racing League, (ADRL) is based in O’Fallon,
This year at the PRI show the ADRL announced that VP Racing Fuel has extended their status as the official fuel supplier to the ADRL until 2014. Hedman “Hustler” Hedders is the official exhaust header supplier, Champion System will be the official uniform provider for ADRL officials, Simpson Performance Products will have a booth on the manufacturer’s midway at all ten ADRL events in 2010, and Racensur.com will send one lucky ADRL racer on a trans-Atlantic cruise for two to the

Another racing series making an announcement at this years PRI show was the USARacing Pro Cup Series. The 2010 USAR Pro Series champion will win more than bragging rights thanks to Crane Cams and S&S Cycle, which have joined forces to create a custom motorcycle for next year’s title holder.

The PRI show is certainly a highlight of the year for Motor Sports Weekly News. Not only is it a chance to get a brief respite from the early winter weather and bask in some Florida sunshine, but it’s an opportunity to talk to various race teams about their plans for the next season and to refresh some contacts and, of course, shoot a few photos. There are lots of race cars on display all over the show floor so there’s plenty for the race fan to see as well. I’ve posted a small album of photos just click here to see them.
If attendance at PRI is any indication, the recession is not having as big an effect on racing as it is other segments of business. There was plenty of traffic on the floor and lots of new products being introduced. 2010 looks like it will be a good year for motorsports.
Only 60 days until the Daytona 500!
