Brown Quickest in First Round at Bristol!

The high heat that kept track temperatures hovering in the mid 130s all day kept the numbers down, but Antron Brown was still able to clock in with a 3.856 elepsed time during the evening session to lead all comers in the first round of Top Fuel qualifying for the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway.
Ashley Force-Hood turned in a perfectly smooth run on the tricky track and leads the Funny Cars at 4.151.
And in Pro Stock, Mike Edwards is continuing his domination of the class with his 6.725, best of the door cars in the evening round.
The 16 car Pro Mod field was bested by Mike Castellana who drove his ‘69 Camaro to a blistering 5.993 seconds at 239.10 MPH.
Qualifying in all of the pro categories continues today along with Sportsman elimination rounds leading up to final eliminations for all classes on Sunday.
