WOW, I don't know where to start ...Your making way to many excuses & I know its your job to not talk bad about Nascar ...But my lord man , try being honest & objective . I worked in marketing for many race teams covering 10 years & i predicted this years ago . I pulled showcars for over 8 teams & talked to 1000"s of fans ( fans that USED) to attend races . News flash , they quit coming because they told me by the 1000's ...ITS BORING , drivers are have become prima donas , tickets WAY to much , must i go on ...YES, gas is high but please do some research ....gas was high for along time but they still came . This sports biggest problem IMHO , its easy ....WAY to much $$$ got involved & the big teams are ruining it . Drivers salary's WAY to high , I found the drivers I pulled for to be fake & ACT like they care about these fans ....Listen to me ..."They Don't .....I'm happy its going down the tubes , maybe they (Drivers , owners ) will wake up & get back to the way Nascar used to be .........."To much is given , Much is required " ...........If it ain't broke , don't fix it , "brian france !!

And good riddance to the "new, improved" Bristol. Third race I spent through most of up in the stands and no, it wasn't because of overconsumption of adult beverages before, during or after the race seeing how I'm the designated driver each year. It wasn't the crashing, per se, that I loved about Bristol, it was the fact to win at Bristol, you had to fight for it. It wasn't handed to you on fuel mileage or points racing. You had to go out, pick and chose your spots of attack, pace yourself and the car, protect your spot when you got on a bad set of tires or had a bad pit stop and yes, you had to use the front bumper somtimes to open a spot...but the truly great ones could do so without wiping out your fellow driver. That to me is more like racing than worrying about your points finish, or if the sponsors name was still visible on the side of the car in Victory Lane or who's feelings got hurt. That's what made Bristol the most exciting place to watch a NASCAR race, evident in the years long waiting list to get tickects...until a few years ago. Now you could have bought tickets at the track box office the day of the race. Such a sad end to 55 straight sold out events. But you keep your new Bristol, and I'll keep my $100 for next year's ticket (plus concession costs) and we'll call it even.

Do you believe this 102,000? Way more empty seats. Other published reports have it as low as 60K. Probably more than that...

Ever notice that Bristol drop their slogan..."Racin the way it oughta be!"

I am done with Bristol...Martinsville is my new favorite...one groove track that you must muscle you way to the front.

Yea Penske...That took some kahounas ...But Ragan ...Ugh... Reut probably would've been a better choice (no matter what they gotta sell Penzoil on it)...Just PLEASE Don't get vickers as the Sprint series drivers need at least a years break from his damage...Maybe Addington will give him (kurt) a reccomendation @ Stewart Hass

Well, I'll bet old Joe Gibbs is foaming at the mouth just waiting to dump Logano and hire Busch. After all, Gibbs has proven time and time again he will tolerate an idiot as long as that idiot can win a few races and make some money for him.

Great move by Penske and Shell/Pennzoil.
His little brother needs to be the next in line for the unemployment line.
NASCAR fans deserve better than these two supply.
